Privacy Policy

Effective April 23, 2026

1. Who we are

Persea (“we”, “us”) is an agricultural technology company headquartered in California. This policy explains what information we collect through our marketing website and what we do with it.

2. Information we collect

  • Demo request form: name, work email, farm size range, primary crop type, and the optional free-text message you provide.
  • Technical metadata: IP address and browser user-agent, captured with your submission to prevent abuse.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this marketing site.

3. How we use it

  • Respond to your demo request and schedule a conversation.
  • Prepare a relevant demo based on your farm size and crop type.
  • Protect the form from spam and automated abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Where it lives

Form submissions are stored in a Supabase-managed Postgres database hosted in the United States. Access is limited to Persea personnel on a need-to-know basis.

5. Third-party services and data sharing

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do rely on a small set of service providers (sub-processors) to operate Persea:

  • Hosting & database: Supabase (managed Postgres and authentication, United States) and Railway (application hosting).
  • Object storage: Cloudflare R2, for farm imagery and analysis outputs.
  • Weather and satellite imagery providers: for growers using the Persea platform, a farm’s location and field boundary may be sent to weather and satellite-imagery providers (e.g., Copernicus, SkyWatch) solely to retrieve data for that farm. We share only what is needed to deliver the service.

6. Retention

We keep marketing demo-request records for up to 24 months to support sales follow-up. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

For growers using the Persea platform, farm and operational data is retained for the life of your account. One exception: food-safety traceability records (FSMA) are retained for two years as required by U.S. FDA regulation, even after a deletion request, and are then removed.

7. Your rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request correction, request deletion, and opt out of any sharing. Residents of other jurisdictions (e.g., EU/UK) have comparable rights under GDPR/UK GDPR. Email the address below to exercise any of these rights.

9. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will post the revised effective date above.
